MINUTES OF SELECTMEN MEETING – March 12, 2012 5:00 PM
Selectmen Present: Eric R. Munson, Jr., and Thomas Paine
Also Present: Eric R. Munson, III, Police Chief
Chief Munson requested authorization for the repair or replacement of Officer Edwin’s portable radio. The radio is 9 years old and it will cost approximately $450 to repair. Eric stated that he did not budget for any repair or replacement within his fiscal 2012 budget. The Board authorized the replacement of the radio with an approximate cost of $1,000. The board will discuss which account to expend the monies.
The Tolland Police will be sponsoring an unused, unwanted or expired medications drive. Tolland residence can drop off their items at the Public Safety Complex on Saturday, April 28th between 10AM and 2PM. Eric has requested the use of the town’s sandwich boards for the advertising of the event.
